In a "History of Family Traditions", it was stated that fifty years ago the average American family went to a family picnic eight to ten times a year but in recent times the frequency is less than once a year. So you guessed it, on Sunday September 17th at 3:00 pm we will gather at Glencoe City Park. Bring a picnic dinner, chairs and/or a blanket to sit on. There will be hiking, train rides, a volleyball challenge, and home made ice cream. The park includes playground & restroom facility but does not have water access.
