Titus 2 Mentoring Program
One of the greatest privileges of being in the body of Christ is the wonderful opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships with other believers. We believe that a mentoring relationship is a vital way to grow into women who live out the mandates of Titus 2:3-5. Mentoring relationships help fulfill the God-given command in Titus 2 for older women to encourage the younger women and for the younger women to follow the example of the older women. The approach to every situation within the mentoring relationship will be "What does God's Word say about...?"
At the very core of the Mentoring Program are integrity, trust, confidentiality and reliability. These attributes within the mentor and the "mentoree" are necessary in developing relationships that are God-honoring and that help to preserve the unity that God has created within the church
We have a packet of information available at the Information Center that explains in detail the Titus 2 Mentoring Program and which includes an application to be a mentor or "mentoree" (one woman can actually take on both roles). We are all in the process of growing into Christ-likeness and there will always be women ahead of us to teach and women following us to be taught.
Please stop by the Information Center for more details or email Carol Callan firstname.lastname@example.org, Jean Heinemann email@example.com, or Dawn Geldmeier firstname.lastname@example.org and we'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have.
