Do you ever say, “I find it hard to pray”, or “I need to pray more”, or “I need to pray with more purpose”? Do you go to God in prayer frequently in hard times, but in the easier times you tend to just say a quick thank you to Him or perhaps even forget to pray? Do you want your heart to be drawn closer to God in prayer?
In this study we’ll look at Scriptures that will draw our hearts to pray more passionate, purposeful and God-honoring prayers. Prayer connects us with our real Home and sets our desires and affections there. It reminds us of who and Whose we are, and it gives us the strength for the journey of life. A strong prayer life is based on a heart attitude of prayer; a heart that desires – and knows it needs – God more than anything else. A heart attitude of prayer equips us to approach the throne of the Father with God-exalting confidence, humility, devotion and adoration.
